"The Adventure of the Noble Bachelor," by Arthur Conan Doyle, is the tenth of twelve stories collected in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. In this story, the bride of the fictional Lord St. Simon disappears on the day of their marriage. Holmes has dealt with other, similar cases, and this one is rather easy to solve, much as it confuses Dr. Watson.
